Mission
We, the New Hope Christian Church, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit are committed:
  • To worshipping God individually and corporately (Psalms 150; John 4:23,24)
  • To advance the Kingdom of God (Mattthew 6:33; Acts 8:12)
  • To introduce Jesus Christ to everyone we encounter (Matthew 28:19, 20)
  • To equip God's people for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4: 11,12)
We shall seek to attain this end through: private and public worship, denying ourselves daily, taking up our cross daily, following Christ by Living in His Word, Praying in Faith,Fellowshipping with other Believers, Witnessing to the World, and Serving Others.
Objectives
  • To be a dynamic spiritual organism, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to share Christ with as many people as possible in our community and throughout the world.
  • To be a worshipping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing His person, and responding in obedience to His word.
  • To experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and fellow believers.
  • To help people experience a growing knowledge of the relationship between God and man.
  • To be a church that ministers unselfishly to persons in the community and world in Jesus’ name.
What We Believe
The Scripture
We accept the Bible as the inspired Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13)

The Trinity
There is only one God eternally in three persons: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. (John 1:1; John 5:6-8; John 15:16; John 16:28)

Man and His Fall
Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:14; Romans 3:23)

Salvation
Even in our sin, God loved us and sent Jesus to die for us. Ife we confess Christ openly and believe that Christ died for our sins and was raised from the dead, we can be saved. (Romans 5:12; Romans 10:9-19)

Water Baptism
Water baptism is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Christ in his death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4)

The Tithe
The tithe is holy and belongs to God. (Malachi 3:8-11)
Youth Ministry

GODZ MAFIA & JUNIOR MAFIA
NO FEARS, NO REGRETS, JUST LIFE WITH A PROMISE
PURPOSE
Our purpose keeps us focused on three essential aspects of Christian life:
LOVE GOD; LOVE ONE ANOTHER; SERVE OTHERS

VISION
There are three things we feel our teens need upon their graduation from high school to be able to keep their commitment to Christ as they make the major adjustments from high school to college. When our teens leave their families, friends, home, church and youth group, we want them to:

• Have a DEEPER relationship with God. (LOVE GOD)

Christianity is about a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We encourage our teens to focus their time and energy on getting to know who God is and understand how God sees them because of His great love for them. We teach our teens that their relationship with God affects every aspect of life. When faced with adversity they can lean on God and not be controlled by emotion. It is not about rules; it is about the relationship.

• Be More SELFLESS (LOVE ONE ANOTHER)

We live in a day in time where people are increasingly selfish. Jesus’ life was about others. He lived to serve others. He died to save others. He rose to set others free from the chains of death. Everything He did was for other people. We want our teens to understand this and as Jesus said, to find life by losing theirs for the sake of others.

• Be COMMITTED to Ministry & Service (SERVE OTHERS)

We want our teens to be active members of the body of Christ. We want them to be trained to see the needs of those around them and to know how to respond and help. We want them to be servant leaders in church because that is what Jesus was. Our teens are the future leaders, we want them to be trained, prepared, and committed to the Lord.

Giving
Giving cheerfully is part of our worship.

Jesus said in Luke 6:38 “Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Proverbs 3:9-10 “Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”

Malachi 3:10 “Bring the whole tithe to the storehouses, that there may be food in my house. ‘Test me in this,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.’”
